Just a good moment...

Hello… Today I decided to write a little story. For those who don’t know me — I really love baking cakes, painting, and I’m trying to write small life stories, especially when we travel.
I usually post them on my Facebook page, but sometimes I’ll write here as well.
We were driving through Revelstoke and happened to find a small French café. Cozy, filled with the smell of pastries and something… European. We stopped in for lunch — and everything was so delicious that we wanted to come back again.
After spending the day not far from the city, we decided to drop by once more, literally right before closing. The café was almost empty, quiet, the staff were gathering the last cups, and we ordered a pizza — just to feel that atmosphere one more time.
And suddenly the co‑owner walked up to us. Calm, unhurried, as if we were old friends. We exchanged a few words — and then he unexpectedly offered us coffee. Just like that. No reason, no occasion. Simply because he wanted to do something kind for us.
And there you sit, holding that coffee (by the way, in a beautiful bright orange cup)… and you realize: the world is kinder than it seems. People are kinder. And these small gestures sometimes touch the heart more deeply than big events ever do.
We walked out of the café feeling that the day had become brighter.
May you, too — especially if you truly need it — have such a small moment: unexpected, kind, warm.
